I've always been adamant about women coming together and being powerful or should I say even more powerful because we alone are extremely powerful.

"I raise up my voice—not so I can shout, but so that those without a voice can be heard...we cannot succeed when half of us are held back." ―Malala Yousafzai
I have done a few projects on women empowerment while I was in college and they never seemed to amaze my peers as I bring forth though provoking art about women. The fact that I too am a woman and I love to see my Queens shine, I made my own logo design on women empowerment and what it means to me. I used the women's gender symbol which symbolizes women, the glitter and gold represents how we glow, glisten, and beam a true radiant of our feminism, and the crown represents how we are Queens! It's this song my mother use to play in the car and she would sing her heart out about it and the song says, "I'm so glad I'm a woman. And no, I wouldn't trade, I know I got it made. Oh, I'm so glad I'm a woman!" That song never left my head since then and that was many years ago. So, women, please embrace your inner Queen. Nobody can take that away from you!
Tips for my Queens: 1. Stay up on your health: make sure that you are doing your absolute best to keep your health up to par. Exercise (which can be walking, jogging, swimming, meditation or whatever it is that you like to do) Get enough rest as well to wake up the next day energized and ready. 2. Find or create a daily personal mantra: I have a mantra that I go by everyday which is God, Goals, Glowing, and Growing. A mantra will help you stay on track and keep you aligned. It allows you to find comfort when you need it. 3. Treat yourself: Even though we already do that all the time just about; make sure that you take on some Me Time or QT (quality time) for yourself. I personally treat myself by going to get a mani & pedi, buying an expensive meal, maybe a little wine tasting, or anything that would help me relax and feel better. Shopping is #1 on the list for me! 4. Be stress free: I know, I know, easier said than done but it's possible! Find a way to de-stress and detach away from things that bother you, throws you off, negative thoughts, worries etc. Find ways to relax such as a bath with rose petals, candles, bubbles, champagne or wine and just take that time to be to yourself. Unwind, get cozy, close your eyes, and chill. You can also find an enjoyable book to dive into, that's also one of my personal favs. Keep yourself mentally stable. 5. Stay confident and keep being a strong Queen: We all have flaws but one thing I will tell you is that I have learned to embrace my flaws like they're my beauties! Too often we let flaws get in the way of how we see, feel, and embrace ourselves but don't let it get you down. Look in the mirror and see the Queen you are, flaws and all.
"Feminism isn't about making women strong. Women are already strong. It's about changing the way the world perceives that strength." —G.D. Anderson
